Cultivate Teens explore Crop Science

Thirty-five high school students from across the state recently spend a weekend with NC State’s Crop Science Department observing water quality on a golf course, cross pollinating corn and making bread dough from rice and wheat flour. The weekend, called Cultivate Crop Science, enabled teenagers to get a taste of what the world of agronomy and turfgrass holds.
